CCHIT Announced Release of Approved Final 2009-2010 Criteria

CCHIT Announced today the release of their approved, final 2009-2010 certification criteria covering ambulatory, inpatient, EH-EHR the new, stand-alone e-Prescribing certification.  Announcement from CCHIT.

According to Dr. Walter Suarez at the Institute for HIPAA/HIT Education and Research, they also announced the delay in implementing the inspection programs using these criteria until after a federal rule expected August 26 is issued reviewing such criteria.
