A Carrier for Healthcare PDF Print E-mail

For online healthcare to work, information has to be available on a carrier  - a network, like the Internet.  The Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) and the Public Health Information Network (PHIN) are developing efforts toward a Carrier for Healthcare.

A Carrier for Healthcare will enable stakeholders, including patients, to "plug in" to a standard interface.  Imagine if, in order to connect to a web site, you had to build a special interface from your computer to that web site.  The Internet would never have grown to provide the explosion in worldwide information sharing.

MatchMerge products and services are based upon standards we have played a lead role in developing.
