A Carrier for Healthcare PDF Print E-mail

We believe that the solution to healthcare interoperability will look more like a network than like any particular standalone application.  A Carrier for Healthcare will enable stakeholders to "plug in" to a standard interface.  Like any network, the Carrier for Healthcare needs to be secure, reliable and scalable - and standardized.

Software Partners has played a lead role in establishing important emerging interoperability standards through the HL7/OMG Healthcare Services Specification Project (HSSP) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).

We have teamed with companies such as Intel, InitiateSystems, Ocean, Northrop Grumman, Oracle, EDS, and others to jointly develop Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards.

With the Public Health Data Standards Consortium (PHDSC) and the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA), we successfully proposed new IHE profile development for 2008-2009 related to patient identity resolution, immunizations and public health.
