MatchMerge takes a Service-Oriented Architecture approach. 

Our approach provides for standardized web service components that work together to fulfill enterprise or multi-organizational requirements in a coordinated, scalable, and cost effective way.  Using SOA, configuration options are unlimited.  SOA is all about loosely coupled, reusable services that interoperate and reduce the need for large, expensive silo systems.
